Paper Handling
Course Description
The Paper Handling Course covers topics in nip roller
mechanics, paper feeding, paper motion in channels, paper motion around guides,
wrinkling, and paper jamming. The course contains information on paper
handling you won't find in any design book. The course covers a wide
variety of numerical and experimental studies on the mechanics of paper handling
for imaging equipment.
This class is offered at your site and on-demand. The class
is taught using notes generated by Flexible Engineering Solutions. Each
participant receives a copy of the course notes (120+ pages). The class heavily
emphasizes example problems, and the audience computes examples themselves to
better understand and apply the techniques on their own. This class includes
custom software and training for simulations written in Mathcad™ Professional.
Optional topics are also available upon request.
Portions of the course can be customized to meet your needs.
